This is my new logo that I created to revamp my portfolio and to show off some of my creative skills. I have always liked simplicity when it comes to logos. I believe that if there is too much going on it confuses a consumer and it is hard to create brand awareness for the target audience. This design I went for simple font and to add some flair with the design itself.
Most people tie pencils and drawings with art and creativity, that is where I got my inspirations for the pencil. I used it to bring a fun and exciting new look to the logo. After deciding to use a pencil, I wanted to find a way to fit it into the design without it looking out of place. That was tricky but I noticed that the pencil point would slide perfectly into negative space within the letters. This project was created in Illustrator.
